Hello!  As a little intro, here's some basics about me: I have been an artist at heart since before I could read and write. The path I've walked has been quite the path! Scribbling at home in the playroom turned into doodling in the margins in middle school. Taking a few art classes at community college turned into getting my BFA in Illustration at university. Working as a digital painter in home decor morphed into learning traditional oil painting. Teaching fundamentals at an art school and directing programs across multiple studio locations evolved into zeroing in on my own painting practice from the comfort of my apartment.

I'm a huge fan of side quests and I've worked hard to stay open and curious about new opportunities as they appear to me. I have learned from experience that wings grow fast if you can commit to jumping. Because of this, my life has never been more richly rewarding. I encourage others to view their lives as a blank canvas; full of possibility, open for interpretation, tough enough to handle what's next, and always able to be wiped down and restarted with a fresh vision!

I currently reside in Dallas, TX with my amazing and supportive husband, who loves me tirelessly and is always up for a last-minute trip to whatever museum I need to go to today because I forgot when that one exhibit closes.
